- January 13th: DCPS Schools will offer in-person learning options for about 30% of students in Term 3 (2/1- 4/12). Read the update here.

- PEPCO – Extending the COVID-19 customer support policies we announced last month through at least June 1, 2020. These policies include:
- Suspending service disconnections for all customers and working with customers on a case-by-case basis to establish payment arrangements and identify energy assistance options.
- Waiving all new late fees for customers.
- Reconnecting service for customers who have had their service disconnected. No new connection fees or deposits will be required; however, customers will continue to be responsible for previous unpaid balances.
- Customers in need of support should call Pepco customer care as soon as possible at (202) 833-7500.
- Greater DC DIAPER Bank has hubs in the DC-area where you can receive up to a month’s supply free.

Below are some reactions according to age group and the best ways you can respond.
Reactions

- Loss of bladder/bowel control, constipation, bed-wetting

- Increased temper tantrums, whining, or clinging behaviors
How to Help
- Patience and tolerance
- Provide reassurance (verbal and physical)
- Encourage expression through play, reenactment, story-telling
- Allow short-term changes in sleep arrangements
- Plan calming, comforting activities before bedtime
- Maintain regular family routines
